Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie release date is still up in the air. We know it is supposed to be hitting theaters by the end of 2021, but what is the status? Does it have a solid chance at getting made? And if it does how much should you expect to pay for it? We’ve put together a Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie budget to give you an idea of what to expect if the project does make it to that point.
First things first, you need to know that there are two separate movies that will make up this brand new Sonic the Hedgehog 2 film franchise. We’ve heard news that Michael Ealy will be starring as Dr. Eggo and Amy Hilling is expected to play Chao. These characters were teased during the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 video game’s reveal. Expect a lot of cameos from well-known actors such as Mark Walhts, Eric Bana, and Ed Begley Jr.
Based on the games, the second movie will pick up shortly after the events of the first game. Sonic the Hedgehog lives in a world where he was transformed into a hedgehog due to an experimental drug. With Dr. Eggo’s help, Sonic the Hedgehog helps the heroes in battle against the evil Dr. Darkkan, who plans to use the powerful emeralds to rule the world.

In the games, Sonic the Hedgehog can jump high, run fast, and stick on walls. In the second game though, we’ll see more of his moves and more of the storyline. For example, there is a storyline that involves Dr. Eggo kidnapping Sonic and taking over the human world. This is obviously related to the drug storyline. Aside, from that though, there’s still a lot to expect in this game.
A few notable actors are voicing the lead roles in both Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and the upcoming third game. These include: Ian McShane (Sonic the Hedgehog), Michael J. Fox (Yoshi), and Patrickie Valentine (Knuckles the Hedgehog). We should also expect to see some returning characters from the first game: Tails, Amy, Eggplant, and Sonic the Hedgehog himself.
There are a ot of other minor characters that we can expect to be involved in some way. The movie will most likely introduce Dr. Eggo, who is the villain in the game, but we also got to meet some of the other major characters from the first game, such as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and others. The villain, though, will likely be unlike any we’ve seen in the previous games.
Robot Transformation
Sonic the Hedgehog is a hedgehog that has been transformed into a robot after being attacked by an evil robot called Dark Lord. This robot attempted to destroy the Earth, but was stopped by Sonic the Hedgehog. Afterward, the two became best friends, and they would go on to help each other save the world from various villains and bad elements. Based on the storyline, it’s possible that there will be a good element in this game as well. One thing that’s definite, though, is that this game will be darker than its predecessors.
Based on the trailer we saw, the movie will be good at introducing some of the character’s new moves. This includes things like the spin kick and the jump attack. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 looks to be a fun game that’ll have everyone entertained for quite some time. It’s possible that the second installment of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will offer even more excitement for gamers around the world.
